This fall I returned to Scandinavia, a part of the world I’ve really fallen in love with. There’s something about the Nordic countries—the design, the landscapes, the calm rhythm of life—that just feels right to me. With two full weeks this time and plenty of daylight to work with, I pushed myself to capture more than ever before. The weather cooperated beautifully, and I came home with some of my favorite images yet.
I didn’t think anywhere could match how much I love Copenhagen, but Oslo came close. Norway as a whole was incredible—the scenery, the people, the sense of space and quiet. The Norway in a Nutshell trip (which you’ll find at the end of the gallery) was worth every bit of effort. The waterfalls, nearly 2,000 feet tall, were unreal, and being surrounded by mountains rising over 5,000 feet inside a fjord was something I’ll never forget. Bergen was another surprise—much bigger and livelier than I expected, full of great views and energy.
Every stop along the way just reinforced how much I connect with Scandinavia. One day, I hope to call it home.
